The Cabinet decided upon appointing Dr. Munther Jamahawi as Director-General of the General Antiquities Department and appointing Dr. Tharwat Al-Reconciliation as Commissioner of Infrastructure Affairs in the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Tourism Development Authority.
The Council of Ministers also decided to appoint Ms. Iman Zaki Abdul Hamid as Commissioner of Infrastructure and Environment in the Board of Commissioners of the Development and Free Zones Authority, Mohamed Issa Al Hayari as Director General of the Agricultural Credit Institution, Mahmoud Khaled Al Jamani as Director General of the Cooperative Foundation and Abdullah Mohammed Freij as Director General of Development and Employment Fund. These decisions came in accordance with the provisions of the system of appointment to leadership positions, which was finally approved by the Council of Ministers, which has become the reference authority governing the recruitment process to senior positions.

The Ministerial Appointments Committee met candidates for these positions, who were nominated by the screening committee provided for in the system after examining all the applications submitted by the contestants to these posts.

The government announced that the appointment to the leadership posts will be based on the recommendations of the ministerial committee headed by the Minister of Justice and includes three ministers and the reference specialist in order to promote integrity, transparency, justice and equal opportunities in recruitment.
